Speak With Confidence is a 12-session after-school public speaking program for students in grades 5–8. The program focuses on building confidence, clarity, and strong communication skills through guided instruction, practice, and supportive feedback.
Students work on one speech throughout the program, allowing time for meaningful practice, improvement, and confidence-building

Program Overview
Speak with Confidence is an after-school enrichment program taking place at Trinity Klein Lutheran School from 3:30–4:30 PM on Tuesdays.
This program emphasizes:
- Confidence when speaking in front of peers
- Clear organization of ideas
- Strong delivery skills (voice, pacing, and body language)
- Respectful listening and feedback
By the end of the program, students will have polished a speech using these techniques.
The goal is not perfection, but growth.

Grades: 5–8
Sessions: 12 instructional sessions totalStart Date: Tuesday, January 27th, 2026
Frequency: Once per week on Tuesdays
Time: 3:30–4:30 PM
Group Size: Limited to 10 students
Final Presentation: 2–3 minute speech
(A limited number of mature 4th graders may be considered based on readiness and space.) -

To request placement, students will complete a brief interest form prior to placement to ensure appropriate grade alignment and readiness for the program.

- What is one thing you hope to feel more confident doing by the end?
Submission of the interest form does not guarantee placement. -
Program Cost
Request placement now.- $350 per student for the full 12-session program.
- Enrollment is limited to maintain a small, supportive learning environment.

Jahci Joy is an experienced educator who helps students build confidence, clarity, and strong communication skills. She creates structured, supportive learning environments where students feel comfortable taking risks, practicing their voice, and growing as speakers.
