Terms of Service, Program Policies & Privacy Policy

These Terms of Service, Program Policies, and Privacy Policy apply to the website, products, programs, coaching services, educational resources, and other services provided by Jahci Joy LLC, operating under the Jahci Joy brand (“Jahci Joy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

I. TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, submitting a form, enrolling in a program, purchasing a product or service, subscribing to emails or text messages, or otherwise engaging with our services or content, you agree to these Terms of Service, applicable Program Policies, and Privacy Policy.

If you are enrolling a minor in one of our programs or services, you represent that you are the student’s parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to complete the enrollment on the student’s behalf.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website, purchase our products or services, or enroll in our programs.

Electronic transactions and electronic records may have legal effect under applicable law, including the Texas Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.

2. Services

We provide educational services and resources, which may include:

Writing and communication coaching
Group educational programs
Workshops
Writing assessments and strategy sessions
Digital products and downloadable materials
Educational resources
Subscription-based resources
Other related educational services and content

Specific services may have additional eligibility requirements, schedules, payment terms, cancellation policies, or participation requirements.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, reschedule, or discontinue products, programs, services, or website features when reasonably necessary.

If a paid service is materially changed or canceled by us, any applicable refund or rescheduling terms stated in these policies or in the specific program description will apply.

3. Payments

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the applicable product or service description and understand what you are purchasing.

Payment must be completed through the payment methods made available at checkout.

For programs with limited enrollment, submission of an inquiry or registration form alone does not reserve a space unless otherwise expressly stated. A space is considered reserved when all required registration information and payment have been successfully completed.

We reserve the right to cancel or refund transactions involving suspected fraud, payment disputes, duplicate purchases, misuse, or other legitimate business concerns.

4. Refunds

Because our offerings include different types of products and services, refund eligibility varies by offering.

Digital Products and Downloadable Resources

Due to the digital nature of downloadable products and resources, purchases are generally final once access has been provided, except where otherwise required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase.

Coaching and Educational Services

Refund and cancellation terms for coaching, programs, workshops, assessments, and other services may vary depending on the service.

Where a service-specific policy appears below or on the applicable enrollment or sales page, that policy governs that service.

For services without a separate stated refund policy, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Nothing in these policies is intended to limit any non-waivable rights available to consumers under applicable law.

4.1 Writing Assessment & Strategy Session

Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Cancellation: Cancellation requests should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Less than 24 hours: If an appointment is canceled or missed with less than 24 hours’ notice, the session and payment may be forfeited, except when we determine that an emergency or exceptional circumstance warrants otherwise.

If Jahci Joy must cancel the session, the client will be offered an opportunity to reschedule or receive an appropriate refund.

4.2 Speak with Confidence with Ms. Joy — Program Policies

The following policies apply specifically to enrollment in Speak with Confidence with Ms. Joy.

These program-specific terms supplement the other Terms of Service and policies on this page. All other applicable terms remain in effect.

If this section addresses a matter more specifically than a general provision elsewhere on this page, this section controls for the Speak with Confidence program.

Eligibility

Speak with Confidence is open to students currently enrolled in grades 5–8.

Enrollment must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

By enrolling a student, the parent or guardian confirms that the student meets the stated grade eligibility requirement.

If a student does not meet the program’s stated eligibility requirements, we may cancel the enrollment and refund the applicable program tuition paid.

Fall 2026 Enrollment

Enrollment is for the Fall 2026 Speak with Confidence program only.

The Fall 2026 program consists of 12 scheduled sessions.

The program is scheduled to begin:

Thursday, September 10, 2026

Sessions are scheduled for:

Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Enrollment in the Fall 2026 program does not automatically enroll the student in a spring semester or any future offering.

Enrollment and Space Availability

Enrollment is limited to 12 students.

A student’s place in the program is reserved after:

The required enrollment information has been submitted; and
The required program payment has been successfully completed.

Submission of an enrollment form without payment does not reserve a space.

Enrollment may close when all available spaces have been filled.

Program Tuition

Tuition for the Fall 2026 Speak with Confidence program is:

$350 for the full 12-session program.

Tuition is charged for enrollment in the complete program rather than attendance on a per-session basis.

Parent Cancellations and Withdrawals

Because Speak with Confidence has limited enrollment and each registration reserves one of a small number of available spaces, refunds are not guaranteed following enrollment.

Requests to withdraw before the first scheduled program session may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Once the program has begun, tuition is generally non-refundable except:

When otherwise required by law;
When Jahci Joy determines that exceptional circumstances warrant a refund; or
When a refund is required under the program-cancellation provisions below.

Missed sessions, late arrivals, early departures, or voluntary withdrawal after the program begins do not ordinarily qualify for prorated refunds.

Student Absences

Speak with Confidence is a scheduled group program.

Individual make-up sessions are not guaranteed when a student is absent.

Parents or guardians are encouraged to notify Ms. Joy when they know their child will miss a scheduled session.

Schedule Changes

Reasonable efforts will be made to provide all 12 scheduled program sessions.

However, session dates, times, or locations may occasionally need to change because of circumstances such as:

School closures
Severe weather
Emergencies
Facility availability
Instructor illness
School scheduling changes
Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

When reasonably possible, families will be notified of schedule changes in advance.

If a scheduled session must be canceled, reasonable efforts will be made to provide a replacement session.

Program Cancellation by Jahci Joy

If Jahci Joy cancels the entire program before it begins, families who have paid tuition will receive a refund of the applicable program tuition paid.

If the program must permanently end after it has begun and remaining sessions cannot reasonably be rescheduled, families will receive a prorated refund for program sessions canceled by Jahci Joy.

Student Conduct and Participation

Speak with Confidence is intended to provide students with a respectful, supportive environment in which they can practice public speaking, presentations, communication, listening, and related skills.

Students are expected to:

Treat the instructor and other students respectfully;
Follow reasonable instructor and school directions;
Participate without intentionally disrupting the learning environment;
Respect the safety, property, privacy, and personal boundaries of others.

If significant or repeated behavior concerns arise, the parent or guardian may be contacted.

When reasonably appropriate, we will attempt to work with the family to address the concern before removing a student from the program.

However, Jahci Joy reserves the right to suspend or discontinue a student’s participation when reasonably necessary to protect the safety, wellbeing, or learning environment of students, staff, or others.

Parent and Guardian Responsibilities

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate and current information during enrollment, including appropriate contact and emergency information.

Parents and guardians are responsible for notifying us when relevant information changes.

Parents and guardians are also responsible for complying with applicable school or facility procedures concerning:

Student arrival
Dismissal
Pickup
Campus access
Emergency procedures
Other applicable facility rules

Educational Results

Speak with Confidence is an educational program designed to help students develop communication and public-speaking skills.

Individual results will vary.

Enrollment does not guarantee a particular academic result, performance outcome, grade, award, competition result, admission decision, employment opportunity, or other specific outcome.

School or Facility Relationship

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Speak with Confidence with Ms. Joy is independently operated by Learn Careers Environment LLC / Jahci Joy.

A school or other organization allowing the use of its facility, distributing information about the program, or permitting its students to participate does not by itself mean that the school or organization owns, operates, guarantees, or assumes responsibility for the program.

Future Semesters

Enrollment for Fall 2026 applies only to the Fall 2026 program.

A Spring 2027 program or other future offering may be offered but is not guaranteed.

Future dates, pricing, capacity, schedules, and enrollment terms will be communicated separately if another program is offered.

5. Intellectual Property

All original content provided through this website, our programs, coaching services, resources, and products—including text, graphics, lesson materials, activities, worksheets, templates, downloads, videos, presentations, branding, curriculum, and other educational materials—is owned by or licensed to Learn Careers Environment LLC / Jahci Joy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Unless we give written permission, you may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, sublicense, commercially exploit, modify, or publicly share our proprietary materials.

Materials purchased or provided for an individual student’s educational use may be used by that student and their parent or guardian for personal, noncommercial educational purposes unless otherwise stated.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use this website or our services for unlawful purposes;
Attempt to interfere with website functionality or security;
Copy, redistribute, reproduce, or resell protected materials without authorization;
Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or intentionally inaccurate information;

7. Disclaimer

Our website, educational materials, coaching, programs, and related services are provided for educational and informational purposes.

College or school admissions;
Awards;
Employment;
Academic performance;

Any other individual result.

Results depend on many factors, including student participation, effort, prior skills, circumstances, and implementation of instruction.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Learn Careers Environment LLC / Jahci Joy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of this website, products, educational materials, or services.

Nothing in this provision excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
